Grawood Miniature Farm is situated in Carrick, Tasmania, Australia. Carrick is a quaint historical village 15 minutes from the Launceston Airport and 1 hour from the Devonport Wharf.

This is a hobby, therefore we will remain focused on our aim - breeding perfect miniatures.

The first imported Miniature Mediterranean Donkey from America to Australia was our Sorrel Jack  Riverside's Sparky Magnito of Asspirin Acres, who after a successful breeding program was sold to Clovercrest  Stud in New Zealand.

Our second imported Jack was Chateaus Millenium Romulus from New Zealand his sire being Lil"Half Pints Lil Caesar 11  IMP USA. This super fine boned Jack complimented Sparky's progeny, allowing the progression of our long term breeding program .Romulus has now been sold to Chris in NSW

Our third imported Jack was Hickory Hills Cocoa Bean 28" from Texas  USA. Cocoa with perfect conformation was purchased speciffically  to reduce the height of the above progeny. Once this was achieved  Cocoa was  sold to Chris in NSW .

The most exciting moment of our breeding program to date, was the importing of our current Jack Heikens Ark Clint Mar from USA.  This 4 year old PERFECTLY BALANCED  JACK  stands a mere 26.75"   We have 4 magnificent tiny foals on the ground . Heights from17" to 19". 

In March 2010 we imported from Texas N & D's Lonestar Cowboy's Latigo a tiny broken coloured 26.5" 2 year old Jack .   With this combination we consider MISSION ACCOMPLISHED................

PERFECT BALANCED TINY DONKEYS WITH NO BIRTHING PROBLEMS ,NO DWARFISM (WHICH IS FOUND MAINLY IN DONKEYS BETWEEN 32-34 INCHES  ADVISED BY ADMS) NO TEETHING PROBLEMS AND PERFECT CONFORMATION   PLUS  UNDOUBTEDLY THE SMALLEST IN AUST, NZ AND POSSIBLY THE WORLD.  I REMAIN A DEDICATED AND RESPONSIBLE BREEDER OF MINIATURE MEDITERRANEAN DONKEYS.
